Are you apart of the HLC "High Life Club" ?
19 ear old Rashad Bryant is a young rising designers who's keep he's street wear simple, clean and classy. I had the pleasure of interviewing him.

What insipired you to call your fashion line "High Life Club" ?
The name high life came from the lifestyle I was living at the time. It means being able to do what you want when you want. for a long time I was on a pursuit of happiness trying to figure out life and I found out that life isnt about finding your self its about creating your self. To me its about doing what you love and being good at what you do.I added the club part to make people feel they are part of something that actually stands for a positive meaning.
Who are your influences?
My biggest influnence is my grandmother she tought me to believe in my dreams and pursue them she never let me down and always supported me on whatever I did. I want to thank her for that. I'am influenced by music, I play music at least 17 hours a day. When I'm designing I like to listen to Coldplay, Jay-Z, Dom Kennedy, Big Sean, Kanye West, and Kid Cudi. I'm also influenced by MAESTROKNOWS.COM he defines high life.
What makes your line different from other uprising designers?
Other brands are doing to much thats all to it. We are bringing it back to the basics, we are defining street culture. We're pretty much are paving our own lane to be honest I think the next collection will answer that question.
Do you plan on expanding your line to other age groups then young adults?
Well HLC is for everyone there is no age group barrier. We may target the youth because we are the rising generation. However adults or any one 30+ can buy a t shirt and represent HLC it's mentally more then a brand.
How could you enhance your design, change the look, or change the intended use for another or different occasion?
That's a secret I won't tell
Your logo pin is very unique and quite amazing, what inspired the designs? and Why are there only a few being sold?
I had nothing to do with that at Travis Charles my right hand man designed and created the pins. We wanted to do a limited release because of how much it cost and takes to make one. Those will be release in December. I'm getting an all black custom one.
Do you make all your designs by hand?
It's a half in half deal some are drawn some are created on the computer.
Would you ever create a couture line, why or why not?
No, not at all
Do you plan on adding shoes, dresses, jeans etc. to High Life Club?
In the near future we will be designing jeans and maybe one day we will collab on a shoe with a major shoe company. Who knows what the future holds.
Where do you see your fashion line in 10 years?
I see HLC with at least five stores across the world, doing different collabs. Hopefully we'll be around that long.
I enjoyed interviewing him hopefully we'll see HLC will be world-wide.

Buy This.

Think of grown & sexy.....Now think of the summertime with your little red corvette & it's top down while you drive off to a private function with your secret lover....did that hit the spot for you? It did for me, anyways, this is Ryan Leslie. You may have heard of him from his semi-hit "Addiction" or "Diamond Girl" from last self titled cd. Which is also as well for a mature audience.
His new album is creatively titled "Transition", singles that you may or may not have heard are "You're Not My Girl" & "Something I Like" featuring Pusha T from the hiphop/rap duo The Clipse. Pick this cd up I'm sure you'll enjoy it.
*songs to listen for:
-"Zodiac"

Sitting in my room, updating http://www.almostfame.com/ and beleive it or not I'm running out of ideas, that's when I log in on facebook (of course) and update my status as to what I should post/add, on my status someone comment....." I told you to aadd hlc fool", I knew what HLC was but I wasn't sure on to what aadd was, so I figured it was add after the fact.
I like the style of the HLC, whenever I see it, I think of the early STUSSY ads, I visited the website and was thrilled to see that it was a upcoming designer, Kris Maiden? Hopefully later, I can set up an interview to his label, but as of now, here are some shirts that are up for sell, for the respectable price of $25.00. Also, visit the site, http://www.welcometohlc.com/
Enjoy
