Black Society Pt. 1

I've been meaning to address this issue for a while now I've titled it the Black Society Pt. 1 because there many problems in the young black society well the black society ingeneral. For centuries we have always thought highly of light skin women and look down on dark skin women and it's shame because has a black community we are suppose to love our women in all shades of color and makes it no better when you have artist like Wayne who praise them . You and I say you because I'm not apart of this "TREND" and I don't embrace this "TREND" because I'm not ashamed of my skin tone has a bi-racial women coming from a Haitian background my skin tone represnts that and I don't think people realize that everything that makes you who you are represents your enthic background. We have a tendacy to praise people with "GOOD HAIR" especially long hair all hair is BEAUTIFUL when it's done and kept up with lol . NO MATTER WHAT SHADE OF COLOR YOU ARE AND WHAT LENGTH OF HAIR YOU HAVE it doesn't make you better then anybody else it's your intelligence that makes you better then most people. I believe has a black society we're setting our selves up for failure and sometimes I think we have set up ourselves for failure by the we act , the way we act amongst each other, how we can put our own people down , we don't help the other black man/women in struggling black community. How can we expect others to help us if we can't even help ourselves ? We failed tremendously and I'm losing hope cause I don't ever think I'll see the day when it's common to see a black man driving a luxury car and walking into a neighborhood that is diverse and there isn't just a couple black familys on the block or walking into a coporate office and theres well educated black men working in theBold offfice not just has the janitor. If our generation dosen't change the black sterotype then how would the next generation ? This is the sad reality of Black America we're to busy worrying about "GETTIN TO DAT MONEY" the easy way instead trying work hard and set goals to money the RIGHT way.
