Hussein Chalayan has made it to my heart as one of my favorite designers. The way he bridges beautiful aesthetics and technology is truely inspiring. That's what I look for when looking at fashion; inspiration. Something that makes you want to go a bit further, carry on ideas that are alot more heavier in magnitude. Hussein Chalayan supplies that type of motivation and so much more. From a dreamy bubble-dress made of glass to dresses that undress themselves. A sexy mix of Warhol-esque humor and futuristic sensibilities that I just cannot get enough of. There's no particular season that I feel particularly passion about because his peices are timeless. Not timeless like a Chanel black-dress. A more space-age, timeless that leaves his viewers lost in the future.
